Our customers trust us with their homes — and we take that responsibility seriously. Every contractor, employee, and subcontractor who works under Remodeling Made Easy is carefully evaluated, trained, screened, insured, and held to strict professional standards. This page explains exactly how we choose who represents RME, what credentials we require, and the safety and conduct expectations we enforce on every job across the DFW Metroplex.
We follow a multi-step screening process to ensure that everyone who enters a customer’s home is trustworthy, experienced, and aligned with our standards. This screening applies to employees, subcontractors, trade partners, and field staff.
We verify work history, references, and previous employment to ensure candidates have a proven track record in their trade.
All personnel undergo criminal background checks before beginning work. Individuals with offenses related to theft, violence, fraud, or home-entry crimes are not permitted to work with RME.
We assess each contractor’s technical abilities, experience with repairs, installations, and remodeling tasks, and verify trade-specific competencies such as drywall, texture, carpentry, electrical, painting, flooring, and more.
Our team must meet strict behavioral expectations based on our Code of Conduct, which covers appearance, communication, safety, substance policies, and client interaction.
Unlike gig-work platforms and unvetted contractors, RME maintains full insurance coverage and requires all subcontractors to carry valid policies as well. This protects homeowners, property, and workers on every project.
We never send uninsured labor into a customer’s home — ever.
Subcontractors are an extension of our brand. Before onboarding, each subcontractor must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and the ability to deliver high-quality work consistently.
Your home is personal — and everyone representing RME is expected to treat it with care. Our Code of Conduct outlines the behavior, professionalism, and safety standards that all contractors must follow.
Clean, professional clothing and proper PPE are mandatory for all field staff.
No harassment, profanity, or disrespectful conduct is tolerated on job sites.
Our team keeps work areas clean, organized, and safe — every day before leaving.
Customers receive daily progress summaries and updates throughout the project.
